Alex Continues To Make Waves

Bablake Sixth Former Alex Carroll continues to make waves in his push for Olympic qualification.

Alex achieved a new personal best time of 2.10.81 for the 200 metre butterfly at a swimming gala at Ponds Forge, Sheffield earlier this month.

A member of the City of Coventry Swimming Club, eagerly anticipating a meeting in Cyprus over the Easter holiday, Alex, who competes in backstroke, breaststroke, front crawl/ freestyle and butterfly - has now achieved personal bests in all his strokes since the Nationals in Sheffield last August.

We wish Alex every success in his quest for further recognition and competitions leading up to trials later this year in Glasgow.
