House Officials 2015-16 - (4) Wheatley

Our final introduction to the House Captains for 2015-16 concerns itself with Wheatley House.

Wheatley's key officials, a team of four that has been a favoured selection process since 2012-13, again includes impressive leading students from the U6th. Matt Hayhurst, a promising young actor and public speaker, Wheatleyan reporter and EPQ student Annie Honess, prospective medic Arun Nahar and fellow Gold CREST student Ciara Wyman were chosen by House Head Miss Jayne Simmons (Physics) to lead Wheatley. This highly skilled, versatile team offers much hope for next month's Drama Festival, which all four Houses have been rehearsing for all term.

The House system offers much scope for every year group to participate in competitions that are very finely balanced to suit those looking for competitive sport, cultural activity and academic challenge. While reaching official status offers an excellent opportunity to hone leadership skills, this year we are indebted to not only the House Captains but every U6th student for playing a leading role in introducing vertical House sessions once or twice every half term.
