Photographic Record Of Yorkshire 2016

Senior School Trips & Visits

A good number of enthusiastic family conversations this weekend will have reflected on last week's successful Second Year visit to Yorkshire.

For many parents, some of this reflection has been prompted by viewing photographs taken by their children. Based in the main at YHA Haworth, there were trips to Jodrell Bank, the National Media Museum, the Royal Armouries (Leeds), Skipton Castle and White Scar Cave, as well as a night at Blackhills Campsite and the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail to enjoy. All in excellent Yorkshire sunshine too!

A particular highlight for many was an evening walk to learn more about the Brontes. Our pupils not only saw the Bronte Parsonage, but also chanced upon a BBC film set that had been set up in Haworth Village for a drama due to be shown later this year.

There are two albums on our Facebook page which were taken on a Canon Ixus and iPod Touch, in line with new school regulations for photography. To view these, please click here (Ixus) and here (iPod)!
