Bablake's Senior School Captains For 2016-17

We are pleased to announce our Senior School Captains for 2016-17.

Hannah Allroggen (Bayley House) and Will Rowland (Fairfax House) were appointed after a rigorous application process that included a written application, nominations from peers and teaching staff, and a final shortlist for interviews with senior managers, Headmaster Mr John Watson and Head of Sixth Form Mrs Alison Tumber.

Formal duties began for both Hannah and Will at our Summer Open Evening greeting prospective parents and pupils at our Main Reception. This week Hannah presented a fine summary of the term's achievements at our End of Year assembly. She was ably assisted by Thomas Nelson, one of our new senior prefects, since Will was attending our CCF's annual Summer Camp. Will's first formal speech in his new role was delivered to those who returned for our Former Pupils 70s Reunion late last month.

In the new academic year, we will introduce both the new Senior Prefect team and our House Captains.
