Reunited

Yesterday we reminded our community of the special memories pupils derive from school tours and thanked the staff involved for offering our students such opportunities.

Earlier this month, 23 years were swept away in one moment when, as they dropped off one of this year's South African tourists, a Bablake parent bumped into Mr Bruce Wilson (Boys' PE) who had been a key member of staff on their own 1993 rugby tour to Canada; all proving while the location may be different, some members of staff remain constant! 

This chance reunion soon prompted fond memories of the 1993 tour and provided proof of gratitude towards staff for devoting vacation time to school trips.
