Bablake Winners - (1) Bunbury Festival MVP

Senior School Sport

It seems most suitable to 'warm up' for the 2016 Olympics in Rio with a week of news items celebrating a variety of recent Bablake winners from the world of sport and academia. Today we celebrate an individual cricketer of extreme talent.

Bablake cricket scholar Dan Mousley, already firmly established in our 1st XI, has been publicly rewarded with 'End of Season' awards from Warwickshire County Cricket club. This summer however, he was selected for his second taste of the famous Bunbury Festival, which to date has spawned 70 England internationals.

As well as receiving his 'Bunbury cap' from recently retired England international James Taylor, Dan was a key member of the victorious Midlands U15s who won the festival final. He also received the prestigious 'Most Valuable Player' award for his all-round performance (44 runs & 2-17) in the T20 Final.
