Rio Selection Catches National Geo Attention

Senior School Sport

As one series of Olympic competitions finishes with Bablake attention focused on Nick Skelton's amazing gold medal, an exciting new era of paralympic challenge opens for current pupil Kare Adenegan.

To reach Rio is a dream come true for Kare, whose rapid rise in her T34 class seems staggering considering she had not raced before the 2012 London games. Being in Rio, she is already a winner, but to return with a medal would be a supreme feat - four years ahead of schedule!

Kare, already an inspiration in turn for other future Olympians and Paralympians, features in the new issue of the National Geographic Kids magazine.
