Mini Sagas

Congratulations to Shell former Sadie Aspinall and Second year pupil Anna Shirley, who are both celebrating being published authors!

Mrs Kathy Davies (English) reports that Anna and Sadie, members of our 'Creative Writing Club' - which meets on Tuesdays at 1.30pm in E6 - have had their fantastic 'mini-sagas' selected for publication in an anthology.

Our young writers entered the ‘Welcome to Wonderland’ competition which challenged them to create an imaginary fictional world, and then use this to create a story in no more than 100 words.

We look forward to reading more about this in the next issue of 'The Lion'.
