Wasps Star Returns To Lead Another Netball Session

Senior School Netball

Bablake was very fortunate to host another visit from Wasps Netball yesterday.

South African international and Wasps centre/ wing attack Bongiwe Msomi led a training session for some of our U12, 13 and 14 netballers in our Sports Hall, where last term she had worked with our enthusiastic Junior School's Y4, 5 and 6 players.

Miss Laura Watts (Girls' PE) was delighted with the session: "There is a great buzz in Bablake about Wasps Netball with many of our girls already attending Vitality Netball Superleague matches at the Ricoh, so it is no surprise to report how excited our players were to attend Bongiwe Msomi's training session.

The girls enjoyed working on new skills as well as consolidating previous training points. They also had plenty of questions for Bongiwe about her international career and time at Wasps Netball."

We thank Wasps Netball once again for leading the session and know, judging from the number of photographs taken at the end, that it will be a session our girls will remember for a long time.
