News About Our Macmillan Coffee Morning Fundraising

This Friday our Macmillan Charity Prefects will be organising a Coffee Morning for our pupils and those from the Junior School. There will be cakes in the Library at break and in our Main Hall at lunchtime.

Next week, on Monday 29th September, the Staff will be aiming to raise more money for Macmillan with its own cake morning and raffle. As part of this event, there will be a reprise of the popular #BablakeIceBucket challenge from earlier this term.

There are two teams- Team A (Mrs Bilsland, Mrs O'Neill, Mrs Scott-Burt and Mrs Tumber) and Team B (Mr Sewell, Dr Smith and Mr Woodward)- and the team with the most votes (by 1pm Mon 29th Sept) will be doused!

There are a number of ways to vote: you may buy votes from our Macmillan Prefects at 10p each or favorite/ like the following links on our official Social Media platforms:

Facebook: Team A or Team B.

Instagram: Team A or Team B.

Twitter: Team A or Team B.

You may also email 'Team A' or 'Team B' in the subject line of an email to register a vote, but only one vote per email address is allowed! On the day, for a minimum donation of £1 for pupils and £2 for staff, there will also be the chance to buy a bucket of water to douse either Mrs Bilsland, Mrs O'Neill, Dr Smith or Mr Woodward, who have all bravely (or foolishly) agreed to a repeat of their #IceBucketChallenge from earlier this term.
