Benslow Instrument Loan Scheme Fundraisers

Music Charity

The Benslow Instrument Loan Scheme is set to benefit from two concerts, with a Bablake flavour, that are planned for September.

Next Tuesday 1st September, Bablake Music teacher Mrs Cathy Scott-Burt will be joining her husband Nick and son Harry to play Beethoven's Piano Trio no. 1 in E flat at St Andrew's Church in Rugby. The trio will then repeat this and play a few other pieces at a 'coffee concert', which will be held at 10.30am in St Martin's Church, Worcester on Saturday 26th September; incidentally this is the church where Mr Trevor Tipple - who has just renovated Bablake's Main Hall Compton organ - is organist.

Both concerts are free to attend, but each hopes to raise money for the Benslow Instrument Loan Scheme, an excellent charity that supports gifted young musicians by loaning them instruments they could not otherwise afford to play.
