Three Spires Academy Appeal For Fundraising Friday

Fundraising Friday this week will be devoted to Three Spires Academy, a special needs school in Coundon, which suffered a fire at the end of September.

The blaze at the school, which takes children aged 3- 11 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, started in the early hours of Tuesday 29th September and destroyed some of the teaching rooms. Charity coordinator Mrs Maria O'Neill (also Head of Spanish) has spoken to Three Spires Academy and understands the school would appreciate book, jigsaw and toy donations.

Our Charity Prefects will be outside the Main Hall on Friday 9th October between 8.45am and 9.05am to receive any donations. This week's Friday collection will also go towards items, on the school’s wish list, that need to be replaced urgently in order to avoid disruption to their pupils’ education. It would be tremendous if the Bablake community could donate generously.
