Bablake's Ever-Expanding Twitterati

Senior School Social Media

Welcome to Bablake Classics and Bablake Duke of Edinburgh, who have both joined Bablake's ever-growing #Twitterati!

With now over 30 aspects of Bablake life covered on Twitter, there is plenty of opportunity for us to share the full range of the Bablake community's activities via this popular social media platform.

Mr Mark Woodward (Head of Careers), who helps promote the Twitter network, commented: 'It is great to see new departments joining the vibrant Bablake Twitter community. Not only are we able to advertise the fantastic work of pupils (former and current), staff and parents, but I have always felt a duty to advocate the benefits of a positive digital footprint for our pupils. At its best, Twitter is informative, educational and, dare I say it, a great amount of fun!'

Bablake's official feed, an early adopter in March 2009, was No 1 in the UK from 2013 until last month in the Interactive Schools HMC chart when it slipped to second place behind Sedbergh.
