Main Library Is A Hive Of Activity With Bookbuzz

As well as being a popular venue for our Sixth Form pupils and Former Pupils' Reunions once again this term, our Main Library has been a particular hive of activity in Shell English lessons.

Every Shell pupil has now received their introductory lesson regarding our Main Library; this includes meeting our Senior Librarians Mrs Julie Needham and Mrs Lucy Ryan, receiving their swish Bablake library card, finding out about our Power Readers scheme and discovering lots of other exciting information about what is on offer in the Library.

Pupils have once again been able to choose a free book courtesy of Bookbuzz, a very popular initiative run by Book Trust - the UK's largest reading charity. The books chosen for 2015 were all available in the Library for our pupils to look through before making their choice and we expect the free copies to arrive in school next month.
