Shells Fly To Neverland

Senior School Drama

Mr Matthew Rushton (Second in English) reports on our Shell (Y7) pupils recent visit to Neverland, saying:

"Whether you’re a regular theatre-goer or viewing your first major production, a visit to the Theatre is always a welcome treat. Therefore it was with great excitement and anticipation that Shell pupils travelled to Stratford, ready to embark on a journey to Neverland with 'Wendy and Peter Pan'.

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production, which had enjoyed a successful run at the theatre two years ago, didn’t fail to excite our pupils who were enraptured by the quality of the returning production."

Two pupils who attended also kindly added their thoughts:

  • "The performance was great. I liked the characters of Wendy and Peter. Hook was very scary and the crocodile was creepy!" Kubra Seker (Shell MR)
  • "The acting was outstanding. I was thrilled from start to finish!" Oliver Spencer (Shell MR)
