Zombie Workshops Prove A Festive Hit!

Senior School Art

Soft sculptor Emma O'Brien led a further two excellent workshops for our Second and Third year pupils in the final week of term, concentrating this time on zombies rather than monsters!

If you ever wanted a perfect description of how our Junior/ Pre Prep and Senior Schools differed, a few moments in the Art department last week would have provided it! As staff and pupils sat completely absorbed in their sewing and design, all competing to produce as gruesome a monster or zombie as possible, your reporter could not fail to be amused by the difference between the gorgeous fluffy, festive snowpeople and glittery goodies being promoted on the Junior/ Pre Prep school social feeds and the gruesomely grotesque zombie creations being produced by both our real teenagers (pupils) and recycled version (staff)!

We thank Emma O'Brien for her wonderful workshops and wish her all the very best for 2016, where we are sure we will see her at local and national craft shows.
