Enterprising Pupils Look To Impress Jaguar

Fundraising

One of the groups of pupils fundraising at our Christmas Fayre was our Jaguar Enterprise Challenge team and Krina Mistry has kindly submitted this excellent report on the team's activity:

'Our team, which consists of Michael Brown, Edward Guest, Samuel Lowe, Martin McKenna, Oliver Murdy and myself, is supporting the Mary Ann Evans Hospice. The opening ceremony for this challenge was last week and we now have 12 weeks to work on our fundraising. We have been given £50 as a float and we have to try and raise as much profit for the charity as we can. There are several other schools taking part in this challenge.

At the Christmas Fayre, we had four stalls. Out of these four stalls, the one that made the most profit was 'Guess the name of the Panda'!

Mr Richard Sewell (Head of Business Studies and Economics) is supporting us, and we hope we raise a lot of money for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.' The Jaguar Enterprise Challenge is an excellent annual initiative where local secondary schools raise money in creative ways for local charity and we wish our team all the best with its fundraising activity.
