Bablake Junior Choirs bring Christmas Cheer to University Hospital

Junior School Music

On Monday and Tuesday this week, crowds gathered at the entrance of the University Hospital to hear the Bablake Junior choirs sing.

The choristers sang with energy and enthusiasm, while the festive songs brought cheer and helped raise funds for the hospital's Breast Cancer Unit. Several patients were brought into the foyer by their families and people sang along with the children. The joy the children felt was obvious and the smiles they shared with patients and visitors alike were heart-warming.

At the Pre Prep choir performance, the hospital’s Chief Executive was personally moved to thank Mrs Mason and the singers. The ladies in the Charity office echoed the Chief Executive's thanks and said, ‘You must be very proud…and they are so well behaved!’ We were indeed very proud not only of the excellent singing, but also of the children's impeccable behaviour. It was lovely to share the happiness of the Christmas message with everyone at the hospital.
