Former pupil Martine Croxall, BBC newsreader, is presenter of the fortnightly Green TV show 'Extreme Weather'. The first programme in the series takes a look at the devastating floods which have hit Thailand, freak snow storms in the US, the coldest places on earth, dust storms in Texas and the likelihood of climate change bringing on more extreme weather.
